Do Horse Racing Systems and Tipsters Really Work?

Horse racing betting and tipping systems have become part and parcel of the world of horse racing and betting on horse racing. Everyone wants to know how get an edge on picking winners, beating the odds and winning a lot of money. This is something everyone involved with horse racing would like to achieve and if you can use racing tips or one of the many betting systems available to get great results it makes it so much easier.

There are many horse betting services on the market which will provide you with horse race betting tips usually for a monthly fee. There are other general horse racing tip services that operate a telephone based service where you dial in for the days recommended selections or they are sent by email and text message. Some of these services offer a number of free horse tips to start off with so you can get an idea if the service is going to work for you and make you some money.

With the growth of online horse betting it has changed forever the betting industry as you no longer have to go to the traditional bookmakers to put a bet on a horse race. This has also led to the number of horse betting systems being produced increasing as the technology for analyzing data has come more into play.

I would definitely recommend investing in either a horse betting system that has been put together by a professional author who earns their living through horse racing or a service that provides regular horse racing betting tips that has shown a good track record of success that you can use to improve your winnings.

There lots of adverts on the Internet offering free horse racing systems. Why give away a profitable system when you don’t need to .If it sounds almost too good to be true then it almost certainly is.

There are however some great resources out there to help you find a really good quality system or tipping service , one of the best I would recommend checking out can be found by clicking here

Five jockeys banned over their mistakes

Posted by Cliff at Feb 17th, 2010 in Racing News

After taking the wrong course in the Gosforth Decorating and Building Services Mares’ Maiden Hurdle at Newcastle, five jockeys were suspended for 12 days in a quite unbelievable incident. There was actually a full circuit to go when Jason Maguire and his mount Seedless headed down the middle of the track, but on the wrong side of the white rails.

This not only led them to the chase course, but lead to four others following his lead to the wrong side of the rails. However the remaining jockeys realised their mistake, and managed to keep on the right part of the course.

The four other misguided jockeys were Peter Buchanan on Catleen, James O’Farrell on Glen Innis Lady, Campbell Gillies on Moscow Mischief and Paddy Aspell on Ruby Queen.

The eventual winner of the race was Mick Easterby on Diavoleria.

The jockeys said that the course had never been divided this way, and though it was marked in the weighing room, they say that someone should have ensured that the jockeys were aware of the change.

However stipendiary steward Adie Smith stated that the course was clearly marked on the map, and as most of the jockeys were regulars there, they should have been familiar with the track.

On a sourer note, I was grief struck to hear that the young jockey, Ronan Lawlor was killed in a gallops accident on Tuesday, in Ireland. It was while pulling up his mount that the horse jinked to the right, and catapulted the jockey out of the saddle, into a wooden stake. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
